This was by far the most difficult unit. Trying to digest and understand phonology and put in play the phonetic script was truly trying. This is a science that takes years to understand, and apply. The presentation done by this course was incredibly helpful in trying to reach that level of understanding. So much of the way we talk and use phonology is taken for granted. The study and understanding of the process that your body uses to make sounds is complex and fascinating. This unit will stick with me for the rest of my career and I hope to be able to study it more through out the years of teaching.
