Unit 6 is comprised of the different past tense forms of verbs such as: simple past, past perfect, past perfect continuous and past perfect. It was good to review these forms of verbs and or participles because using a different one that intended drastically changes the meaning of a sentence. For instance, if a set duration is not included American speakers generally use the past continuous form. Using the past perfect continuous form would place emphasis on the time before this action happened in the past rather than timing the action. It is evident that this unit strengthens my understanding of past verb forms in order to better educate learners.
