This unit talks about the engrossing and monotonous aspects of the course books that the teacher may use to teach students of different levels, and the use of the teacher?s creativity and methodology to involve the students in the lesson in an interesting way away from the stale discouraging materials. I learned from this unit that the teacher should not always rely on the ready materials to teach, but he or she can use his or her talent to come up with funny and more interesting ideas and topics to encourage students in the learning process. In my opinion, the teacher should understand the students? psychology and create a needs-analysis for the learners because students not only need good learning, but also need effective and attractive drilling and application which suit their curiosity to pace with their learning functionally.
