This unit was about the importance of using coursebooks and other materials to aid in making lessons more fun and teaching easier. Although coursebooks and other materials have their advantages, relying on them too heavily also has their disadvantage. Coursebooks include level specific books that are specifically targeted for a certain grade level whereas others are general books that are for all levels. Thus, it is important for the teacher to understand the grade level of his/her students and to adapt the material to suit them. Materials also come as either created or authentic material. Authentic materials include printed materials such as magazines, menus,etc., whereas Created materials are something the teacher creates on his/her own
