Managing a classroom is a very important part of teaching a lesson. Formation of seating depending on the size of the class, use of moderate eye contact spread amongst the students, and speaking in a steady, audible voice are some aspects that must be taken into account. The teacher provides a model of how the language should be spoken, and should be able to move from being the focal point, to also being able to step aside to allow the students adequate talk time so that they may be able to utilize and display what they have been taught in each lesson. If needing to discipline a student, take the student aside privately, and make it about the behavior, not the student himself. Non-threatening hand-gestures should be used, so that Students will not be made to feel unnecessarily uncomfortable. Don't let one student dominate the others, ask for comments from students, and be relaxed enough to smile when once in a while.
