I have learned various ways to manage my classroom effectively. First, it is important for me to establish a good relationship with my students. Also, it is very crucial to be able to group my students with encouraging partners. Establishing a comfortable learning environment is what I would like to accomplish every day in my class. Perhaps, the half a circle (horse shoe) set up is the most effective classroom set up that would work in my class at the moment. The reason is because I do struggle with the shy students sitting in the back and not being able to be more involved in class discussions. Overall, this unit and video informed me more about effective classroom management.
