This unit discusses the use of course books and lesson material. Both course books and created lesson materials have benefits of their own, but a good balance is provided when using both to teach. The course books provide a stable routine with lessons that have already been proven to help the student's improvement of the language. but the additional course material complements the lessons by adding a fun and diverse activity for the students to enjoy. I personally benefitted from this unit by learning to incorporate both the lesson materials and the book course to make a balanced and more engaging class for my students.
