This unit covered teaching pronunciation and phonology. It described how words and sentences have stresses within them. It also went into the explanation of patterns such as rise/fall and fall/rise. This can help people predict the meanings and different areas being stress can relay different things. Lastly, it went over the sounds in out language and how letters can end up having things like being linked or dropped. As a native, we do this all the time and this must be confusing for people who are not natives. This whole unit was a learning experience,especially the areas of the mouth and throat that are used to talk and how letters use them differently or use different areas.
