Phonology is the study, analysis, and grouping of speech sounds including word stress, sentence intonation, and voice rhythm. People across countries use the INTERNATIONAL PHONETIC ALPHABET as the global standard for pronouncing English words. Intonation patterns are \"rise/fall\", fall,rise\" and \"flat\" with each depending on emotion and the communicative language. Generally, all verbs, nouns, adverbs, and adjectives have one stress and only syllables in those words can be stressed. Articulate looks at how Speech sounds are produced and in what manner. Speech sounds are produced from three parts of our mouth and 4 organs. There are 8 places of articulation and six manners of articulation. Pronunciation and Phonology are important for a student to learn as their English ability will improve through more fluent and clear communication.
