The theories, methods, and techniques unit provided the framework for the pedagogical perspectives of teaching. This section introduced various teaching styles, but stressed the importance of the engage, study, and activate model. The ESA model allows flexibility, discovery, and above all, fun in the classroom. Unit 3 showed me what the building blocks of lesson planning will look like and the many resources that can be utilized (e.g. worksheets, games, miming). It also included the importance of praise and the when/what/how corrections should be handled for language learners. Overall, unit 3 was an essential part of my process, I'm looking forward to implementing what I learned in the future.
