This units discusses some of the differences between different groups of learners, such as adults, children, multilingual and monolingual classrooms and so on. However once again I think this unit is another which falls under the category of common sense for the most part. Actually one part of my current job which is a struggle for me is conversation classes including students of a wide age range, ranging from children (primary school age) all the way to adults as old as fifty or more. I would consider this to be a special group unfortunately I didn't learn anything in this unit which could be applied to this particular student group.
