This unit was especially helpful in providing detailed tips, strategies, and general things to keep in mind when teaching these particular groups. It may be intimidating for a beginner English teacher to teach these specialized groups, and I thought this unit provided many helpful strategies as well as general approaches to the classroom. It is important to identify the individuals' and the groups' needs in order to design a lesson plan specialized for these groups. Each group may provide advantages and disadvantages for English teachers, and it is important to play to each group's strength while achieving their particular goal.
