Unit five introduced lesson plans and why they are useful. This unit showed how to structure a lesson plan in order to plan effectively, act as a working document, and keep record of class in order to know what the students are learning on any particular day. Lesson plans should be written down, organized, and include the learners objective, language point, teaching aids, procedure, phase, timing, interaction, grade level, time/date, number of students, and the teacher's name. Overall I felt unit five did a pretty good job explaining lesson plans, the different phases within the lesson plan, and showing a great example of a lesson plan.
