The unit introduces various teaching aids and common equipment commonly used at an English lesson, including white board, visual aids and word cards, etc. It provides basic principles for board-work and specifies how to plan the board-work in advance. As shown in the class video, white board still plays an important part in an effective English class as it can be used to show important language points, attract the students' attention and analyze the differences of the items during the lesson.
