This section showed us the differences between various groups of students. First we read about the features and needs of ?The Beginners?. First of all, we have to clarify that there are different kind of beginners. We can talk about: absolute begginers; false beginners; adult beginners; young beginners; and beginners without the Roman alphabet. Each group has its own necessities, difficulties and advantages. We got useful tips about teaching them all.
Teaching groups and individual students also require different methods and activities. We read about how to teach Business English. I found the sample ?Needs Analysis? very profitable.
At the end of the Unit we got some information about monolingual and multilingual classes too.
