This unit looks at conditionals of speech and reported speech. It looks at the five different types of conditionals, and their differences in structure and usage. Reading about these differences allowed me to think about the challenges students will face with recognition and usage, and the potential mistakes and errors they may make. The unit also covered the changes from direct speech to reported speech, especially focusing on the changes in tenses between the two. Again, this material prompted me to consider possible mistakes students may make, and confusions they may face between the different changes in tense.
