From personal experience of learning another language at university, the content covered would have taken anywhere between half to a full semester depending on a student's effort and aptitude for the subject. It covered all the important parts of a sentence's structure. The contents are explained consicely but it may be difficult to convey to a beginning learner of the language. It is then up to each teacher to help convey the information in a manner that is easy for the student to understand and help them gain practice in creating sentences as it is if not one of the most important parts in being able to speak English. I also learned a bit on how I structure my own sentences.
