In this unit, I learned about modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. First, the unit introduced modal auxiliary verbs and described their basic rules. Next, the unit provided a table of all the modal auxiliary verbs, which listed their uses and present/future and past tenses. I found it especially interesting to learn about how each of the modal verbs can change meaning and formality of a verb. Next, the unit provided some ideas for teaching this subject. Next, I learned about the passive and active voice and typical student errors while studying this subject and ideas for teaching it. Finally, the unit introduced relative clauses and phrasal verbs, explaining their uses and providing examples of each of them.
