There are 4 conditionals: The zero, the 1st, the 2nd, the 3rd. Each conditional should begin with \"if/when\", or the second clause can start with \"if/when\" preceded with a comma. Conditionals refer to irrefutable facts, probable/possible/certain results, and hypothetical conditions in the past and future. Direct speech can be in a question form or written with quotations. Reported speech is spoken by a third party who is expressing what another person has said. Reported speech cannot take on the interrogative form and does not use quotation marks. When direct speech is spoken in the reported speech, the verb and the pronouns may change form.
