This Unit covered the proper way to teach vocabulary to your class. The main teaching method involves ESA, or the Engage, Study, and Activate method. Examples of the Engage phase include a sort \"icebreaker\" task that includes using pictures, bringing up a conversation, or anything else that can help what might be a hesitating class to engage in activities for the day.
The Study phase involves using word searches, crosswords, and other activities where students can learn about the English language. The Activate phase often involves the students demonstrating what they have learned in the class in a way that will make them feel comfortable.
