This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 2 discussed various topics such as teacher and student roles, advantages and disadvantages concerning the differences in teaching 'one on one' and teaching groups, and various teaching methods. A large portion of the material was a recap of what was covered in the initial TEFL Certification course such as older teaching methodologies that are still in use today, ESA methods (straight arrow, patch, and boomerang) that are used more frequently, and the definitions of receptive and productive skills. I liked the fact that the lesson part of this unit was a recap of the initial TEFL Certification course because it's always good to be refreshed on these topics.
