In this unit, I learned about phrasal verbs, auxiliary modal verbs and the passive voice. I learned that modal verbs are used for certain actions, e.g requests, or to express a level of certainty. Different modal verbs express different level of certainty. I learned how the passive voice differs from the active voice, and how it is formed in every tense.I learned about transitive and intransitive verbs, and how to identify them. I learned that an intransitive verb cannot be followed by a direct object. I learned about different phrasal verbs, and how to make students familiar with them, e.g use them in class as often as possible.
