This Unit16 looked at Conditionals and Reported speech, which is very important to be taught in the class as part of English grammar. Conditionals can be called ``If clauses``, it's the result of something that might happen in the present or future or might have happened in the past but it didn't happen. This unit clearly explained five main Conditionals including their structures and usages. They are zero conditional, first, second, third and mixed conditional. It also provided some useful teaching ideas for the teachers. The second part of this Unit was about Reported speech. It explained the most important aspect of the subject such as changes that occur when changing direct speech into reported speech. I used the illustration on page six on how to transform the tenses of direct speech to a reported speech and it really helped me to understand it better.
