This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covered the basic parts of speech in the English language. Starting with nouns, the unit when into detail about the different categories, their plural forms, and when and how to use other parts of speech that modify nouns like definite and indefinite articles and adjectives. Adjectives themselves were another section, which explained how to form comparative and superlative adjectives. It also provided a rule for the proper order of adjectives when encountering multiple in a sentence. The verb, which is probably the most complicated part of speech, has many forms, and many don't follow the rules of regular verbs. These irregular verbs are many, and, unfortunately, students do not have much of a choice other than to just memorize their forms. The last sizable section reviewed adverbs, their uses, and where they can appear in a sentence. The last few sections briefly explained gerunds, pronouns, prepositions, and conjunctions, bringing the overview of English's parts of speech to a close.
