This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit we went back to the subject of grammar and look at the different forms of sentences and how to teach them effectively in the classroom. We also looked at the differences between direct and reported speech.
I have learnt many times now from this course that I often use grammar incorrectly, which has been interesting and validating to begin recognising those misuses and correcting them myself. Particularly with reference to reporting direct speech! I found this unit easier than the future tense unit, and hopefully (as it seems to go around in a circle) I can review my weaker units and understand them more fully now.
