The content of this unit deals with teaching pronunciation and phonology, which basically involves teaching students how to pronounce words and sentences in the correct manner. Intonation, stress, the phonemic alphabet, phonemic symbols, articulation, teaching techniques for the pronunciation of individual sounds, and when to teach pronunciation were all discussed extensively in this course unit. I have been able to learn the best techniques to go about teaching about pronunciation and phonology to students in an English Language classroom, and also brush up my knowledge on pronunciation and phonology.
