Unit one of the CTBE course is basically an overview of the material contained within it. The unit detailed the maximum amount of time allotted for the course, as well as a recommended speed for completion to maximize results. It also contained and detailed various acronyms or \"terminology\" for various English teaching fields, such as the ESP(English for specific purposes) and the TEYL(Teaching of English to young Learners) and that TESL, TESOL, and TEFL are basically the same thing.
after going over the course outline I am now certain I've chose the right class to take to prepare my shoe to get into a door in the English teaching business. I'm feeling a little bit more confident knowing that i will be able to teach English in such a wide array of fields some day soon! ESP seems like the field this course that goes hand in hand with after reading the CTBE course material. what else can i say? this was a great choice! thank you ITTT!
