This section of the certification process included information about different types of present tense. There is simple present tense that entails a (subject plus a base form. Negative versions of these types of sentences include a subject plus a \"do not\" and a base form. The question starts out with an auxiliary verb plus the subject and ends with the base form. Present continuous is make with the present simple tense of the auxiliary verb to be and the present participle of the main verb. Perfect present sentences relate the past to the present. Present perfect continuous sentences relates past activities to the present. It also implies that either the activity is likely to continue in the future, or that the activity was in progress for some length of time, or both.
