Unit 5 discussed classroom management. Having no knowledge or experience in teaching, this unit helped in giving me an idea of how to arrange the classroom setting that I will be teaching in. The set up and grouping of students might not be as effective if I teach students privately; however, the individual learning/teaching aspects of the unit are of great help, along with building my rapport with my student(s) and the use of eye contact, gestures, and my voice. I enjoyed the maintaining discipline part of unit 5, as the reasoning behind problem behavior is very important in deciding how to address the behavior.
