This unit went over the importance of lesson plans and how they can be a great aid, especially to those that are new teachers. Lesson plans can be a great tool to teachers because not only do they help teachers go into plain detail about the next lesson, but they can help keep track of what is being taught and how the lesson went. This can be used to keep a record of what was taught in the classroom. I also really liked the idea of evaluating your own lesson and going over not only how the lesson went, but how the students reacted to them and how certain activities were received well and not so well. The evaluation would be a great help to future lessons and for one's own teaching skills!
