I have learnt a lot of useful knowledge of teaching theories, methods and techniques from this unit. The most important teaching methods I?ve learnt is the ESA teaching methods, because it is the most useful teaching methods to use and it can benefit both teachers and students of different levels. Correction is another important thing I?ve learnt from this unit. I used to correct my students a lot during every stages in my class, because I thought it?s essential for students to speak right sentences. However, after studying this unit, I found there?s also a stage correction is unnecessary-the engage stage. Besides that, correction from teachers should come after students? self-correction, and correction from other students. In this way, students have time to think about and learn from their mistakes.
