This final lesson covered different problems that may arise when teaching and especially focused on starting off the class on the right foot by giving guidance on how to teach the first day of class. The teacher was encouraged not to jump right into the teaching material on the first day but to take some time for the class to get to know each other and the teacher and for you as the teacher to get to know them. Also, to take time to determine their English skill level and their interest/desire for learning English if this had not already been done. Various other potential issues were covered such as what to do if the students are not being able to understand the tape recorded materials used to develop listening skills. Thanks for the class. It was very helpful. I learned a lot.
