In my opinion, this unit was the most helpful for me so far. It helped me organize my thoughts and structure my lessons logically. I had had difficulty structuring my grammar lessons in the past. However, now that I learned to logically organize my lessons, I feel more confident when I teach my students. Also, I appear more confident as an ESL instructor. I am teaching in a more organized manner and using material/activities in a logical order without having students doubt me as an instructor. Moreover, I appreciated the grammar worksheets that were included in this unit. The worksheets do make sense for Level 5 ESL learners and stick consistently with a topic. Overall, this unit helps me be a more structured lesson planner while being flexible and prioritizing student language objectives.
