This unit covered the different audiences encountered on the English classroom. In my current situation, I must cater to nearly all mentioned groups, with wide variations within those groups. It is essential to consider how each group approaches and engages with the language. One thing that I must keep in mind is not to revert to the students' native language regardless of whether I understand it. Also, for each group the \"engage\" part of the lesson forces the students to start thinking in English, which is something I would like to promote in all of my lessons rather than the current philosophy of teaching-through-translation.
