Teachers must establish rapport, build respect amongst students and for themselves. Find out the interests of the class, aspirations of individuals and the level of english. The \"warmer \" activities are great. Pass the ball, memory, pictionary are all good ways to start the lesson and a fun start to the day. Teachers will always be juggling different levels and class sizes. Most important is to include all students, never diminish or make fun and ensure pairs are respectful. Listening texts are important and listening repeatedly will encourage and hone listening skills. Large class sizes will require different techniques form the teacher to keep order and the noise level manageable.
