The writing activities can take quite a while with younger and lower level learners. Some of these lessons might have to be broken into two parts to be executed properly.
Speaking is always the least focus of any TEFL class it seems. The primary reason being that outside of areas where English is extensively used in everyday life or proficiency is necessary for some elevation of status, the students have no opportunities to practice at all. This is good information for me to know since I am working specifically as an aid for speaking. But I wish there was more opportunity to put this information to practice in my own classroom.
