I learned many classroom management tactics to help maintain discipline and build rapport in the classroom. I found the part about eye contact very interesting, I had previously underestimated the importance of eye contact. I also found the part about TTT VS STT helpful. I am always looking for ways to reduce the amount of time that I am talking so that students have more time to practice speaking and express themselves. I was also unsure whether students should be allowed to correct each other. Now I know that as long as it is done in a respectful manner, letting students correct each other helps build classroom rapport.
