This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Many methodologies in EFL teaching today are still practical and one of the most effective method is ESA ?Engage, Study, and Activate. Each phase has its purpose and role to play in the lesson. Moreover, the order of the phases may not always be the same as long as it begins with Engage and then ends with Activate; for instance, ESA (which is a straight-arrow lesson), EASA (which is a boomerang lesson) or EASAESA (which is a patchwork lesson). There are lists of things that should do and should not do in each phase to ensure that the method is being efficiently used. What I have learned from this unit are some ideas for each phase and some activities and games I can use in a class. I also leant how and when to give feedbacks and corrections.
