Unit 19 focused on specific types of classes and learners you might encounter. These groups include beginners, children, one-on-one learners, business people and multilingual vs. monolingual classes. Beginners need very clear instructions with a heavy emphasis on visual learning. Children can learn extremely fast but lesson need to be fast paced and fun to keep them interested. Business people often have specific English language needs that relate to their field, as well as the basic English to use this information. Multilingual classes can increase English talk time while monolingual classes tend to use their native tongue more. Care must be taken to maximize English talk time.
