Unit 17 looks at the various equipment and teaching aids available and the how they can be used by teachers of the English language, to make lessons more interesting, effective and less dependent on course books. Some examples are white/black boards, overhead projectors, visual aids, worksheets/work cards, dictionaries, to name a few. It covers the principles of board work, the advantages and disadvantages of some teaching aids with their usages and online sources available currently. I've learnt that there are many different equipment and teaching aids available now and how to choose those them to design a teaching lesson more efficient, effective and interesting.
