This was a hard topic to go over!!
The rules in relation to grammar never seem to amaze me with its complexity and mind boggling rules.
I have certainly seen the grammar structures become more difficult as these chapters advance.
A rather confusing question was number 4, the modal verbs not used for requests, I always thought that the modal words for requests were:
can, could, may, might, must, shall, should, will and would.
Seems they actually all cover the request area so I guessed it and hope I was right, I felt that MUST, was out of place a bit, when I sat thinking of sentence patterns, it didn?t seem to fit.
Then after question 4, it became more complex with the likes of transitive phrasal verbs.
Just hope I did well, I certainly did sit and read over and over on this one. It?s truly astounding how complex languages REALLY are.
I particularly found transitive and intransitive phrasal verbs to be a very difficult for me.
