Unit 13 is about Teaching Pronunciation and Phonology; it covers the areas of Stress, Rhythm and Intonation. It shows how the use of IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet), aid in students' understanding of pronunciation in English. Diagrams and a chart was given to explain the manner and place of articulation. I've learnt that pronunciation, stress and intonation should be an integral part of an English teacher's course. This will help the students with the accuracy and clarity in their spoken English. The resources to further explore this subject was given which I found extremely informative and interesting. This was indeed an enjoyable unit for me.
