This unit presented present tenses, including simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous. I found this unit valuable as a native-speaker because this information comes naturally to me. In order to teach it to someone who is learning English for the first time, it is necessary to break up the information into usable sections and explain the differences. I especially appreciated information about where learners typically have issues because this will help me to make note of where my students might have the same issues. Finally, this unit spoke to the areas of present tense that do not have hard-fast rules. This will be useful to students who might be struggling with trying to apply a rule where one does not exist. This will be helpful in building confidence.
