Students often dislike tests, this unit however showed the importance of tests. As a teacher and a student it is importent to see how you progress and develop in your language skills. Tests shouldnt be discouraging, not they are suposed to help a student to see how much they have learned already. This unit showed four kinds of tests. Placement and Diagnostic Tests, and progress and Practise test. Progress tests i think are the most common tests that are beeing used often through the year to evaluate the skills of the students. Other evaluation tools are tuturials to be held best at the end of the week with a class or let the students do the evaluation with a questionaire or a guided discussion.
