I found the lesson planning to be very informative. The outlay of the examples given, for a good lesson plan is something that has benefited me greatly and a tool I hope to use in the future. The section regarding flexibility was most interesting to me as before, I used to assume that the lesson plan had to be kept to every time. However if the class is enjoying a particular part of the lesson I can make a decision to extend this part and continue the remainder next lesson. If I was asked about this decision, I could explain that the learning was more beneficial to stay on this part than continuing any further. Finding a key balance between the enjoyment and learning is also key.
