This unit was straightforward and somewhat helpful. I appreciated the links in the end section. There are many resources available so having a few trusted go to sites can really save time searching. I think it is very important for teachers to use different tools to assist in teaching. In my opinion it helps keep the students engaged and focused. When working with children I would also add books and toys to the teaching equipment list. All these tools can be used to enhance a lesson but it is important to not solely depend on the tools. I am sure we all have run into technical issues and I have learnt to always keep spare activities or actual printouts in my bag. I think it is also important for teachers to use the equipment they feel comfortable with and not feel the need to use everything available to them. If the teacher is comfortable then the students will be too. Now this isn't to say that the teachers should not grow and stretch themselves, but I believe this is best done one step at a time.
