In teaching productive skills (writing and speaking) with writing you will find that spelling, pronunciation and punctuation take precedence over handwriting, in a classroom situation students will partake in accuracy and fluency based activities, accuracy is usually part of the study phase and is often controlled to allow for accurate reproduction of language where as fluency being part of the activate phase will allow the students to grapple with the effectiveness and flow of what they have learned.
Speaking activities whether controlled or guided activities as well as creative communication should be handled with thought out planning that encourages students to engage in class.
In addition to the content in this unit many external activities were referenced and I have taken some time to investigate and find what might work in future planning of class based activities.
