I have learned about pronunciation and phonology. Pronunciation is an integral part of this course, it reflect feelings and personal reactions to different situations. If pronunciation is not correct the meaning of the word is lost and we cannot understand what the speaker is trying to say. There are general rules that are laid to understand the English grammar. Certain features are needs to be highlighted to understand English grammar, these are such as intonation, stress, pronunciation, phonemic, and articulation. All these they need to be given time in a classroom to make students aware of the importance of accuracy and clarity of communication. Techniques and rules for indicating and teaching all these features were discussed and stress of certain syllables and phonemic alphabets were important to learn and I think phonemic alphabets are needs more concentration and understanding because it helps in knowing the spelling of words in order to pronounce them correctly.
