Unit 19 looks at methods and activities that can be used when teaching specific groups such as beginners, young learners, and business students. It also shows several classroom scenarios that teachers may encounter in their teaching careers. There is a huge difference between teaching adults vs. small children. Each group has their own learning style, different level of self-motivation, discipline, and reasons for being in the class. That?s why I find the methods, suggestions, and practical advice in this unit very helpful. I can see myself using them to teach different age and grade level groups.
