This unit covered \"teaching special groups\" and gave a brief overview of who those groups could be and what kind of class options are available. Though the same general rules apply when teaching any beginner in any setting this unit especially helped to highlight what the differences between different classroom settings could've. For instance, in a one on one dynamic the teacher and student are able to develop more of a relationship. With a closer relationship teachers are then more likely to grasp the specific needs of the student and fully respond to their individual learning goals. Though a needs analysis can be conducted for all groups paying special attention to everyone's specific needs becomes much harder this way.
